Bird's Eye View

A flutter here a hoot there,
My experience with you I'll share.
I see a girl enjoying her candy,
Her parents smile at her glee.

Lovers are having a fight,
For me it is an enjoyable sight.
People at the foodcourt are unaware,
As a girl is engulfed in her despair.

The boy looks at the shoes in rack,
Wondering if his father will buy him that.
The mother at the dresses looks wistfully,
As her daughter tries them 1 2 3.

I look around at this big bright cage,
Wondering if this is where I'll age.
For everyone else I'm inconspicuous and small.
Am just another bird stuck in a mall.
