Out of the window I see the tiny rain droplets,
Extend my hand for my fingers to wet.
And I see the birds cosy up to each other,
Then I look at you and realise I need not look further.
You look at me and you faces lights up,
You leave aside on the table the steaming tea cup.
Take me in your arms and kiss my forehead,
I say the silent prayer I have always prayed.
Of all the things I've started loving,
'You' is the one I'd never want to finish.
And later in life when I look back reminiscing,
This is one memory I'll always cherish.
